'Basic Introduction to Spirometry' Training
This involves a ˝ day workshop (3 hours) covering the theory and practical elements of carrying our safe, reliable, accurate spirometry.
‘Advanced’ Spirometry’ Training
This is aimed at staff who have some experience of carrying out and interpreting spirometry. It is a whole day workshop (3hours am/3hours pm). The aims and outcomes of the course are:
- To be able to correctly identify which patients require spirometry
- To be able to perform an accurate test
- To be able to achieve reproducible results
- To be able to instigate appropriate follow up
